Undertake regional roll-out cum consultation meetings.
A brief meeting was already conducted with the SFFI SOCCSKSARGEN and BARMM Regional Presidents on November 17, 2020 at SFFI Office, to discuss initial arrangement on the regional rollout cum consultation meetings in their respective areas to include participants from the DENR, (upland) people’s organizations, civil society organizations, member/s of the House of Representatives and Senate, and other key stakeholders. Letters dated February 2, 2021 were sent to the said SFFI Councils as invitation to the said meeting (See Annex 17 & 18). However, schedule of the rollout is yet to be finalized given the changing COVID-19 health protocols in the said areas specifically the requirement of RT-PCR testing for visitors which is only effective for three days after result, limiting meetings and assemblies to 50% of venue capacity, and work arrangements in DENR Offices. Nevertheless, SFFI SOCCSKSARGEN President, Forester Iskak Dipatuan and SFFI BARMM President Kahal Kedtag committed to provide regular updates until final schedules are set.
