What is SFFI?

The SFFI is an independent, democratic, non-profit, non-political, and non-partisan professional organization incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The SEC-registered SFFI is the only accredited integrated professional organization (AIPO) of Foresters in the country as recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The Society is currently composed of eighteen (18) Regional Councils: seventeen (17) regional and one (1) sectoral (being the Philippine Forestry Education Network or PFEN).

Per Republic Act No. 10912, all Registered Professional Foresters sanctioned by the Professional Regulation Commission (through its Professional Regulation Board for Foresters) will have to undergo continuing professional development (CPD) that would be administered with the SFFI Representatives as the First Member of the CPD Council.
