Rocks & Forests Golf Tournament

The UP Geology Alumni Association (UPGAA) and the Society of Filipino Foresters (SFFI) holds the Rocks and Forests Invitational Golf Tournament annually.

UPGAA is a significant partner of the National Institute of Geological Sciences (NIGS) in the development of the geological profession, and SFFI is an integrated professional organization of the country’s foresters that actively promotes sustainable management of forest resources and the advancement of the forestry profession. 

Since 2016 both organizations have started working together on the Carbon Neutral Program ("CNP"), which joins the global call for climate change mitigation in view of the dreadful impacts that can change the world’s landscape as we know it today.

The 3rd Rocks and Forests Golf Tournament was held last June 1, 2018 at The Sun Valley Golf Club, Antipolo City.
