B1. Development of the Communication Plan
The Communication plan was prepared and agreed by the SFFI Project Team and National Council employing various communication channels/media to be used under the Project. The objective of the Communication Plan is to effectively disseminate to the TWG and other forestry stakeholders (especially with the Legislators, DENR Field Offices, community organizations, and other stakeholders) the importance of enacting the SFM Bill in the context of forest rehabilitation, enterprise development, food security, poverty alleviation, urban development, climate change, and nation-building. Materials were produced and/or published such as the SFM book, leaflet, and news articles while an SFM website was created and linked with various social media.
