Quipot is one of the upland barangays of Janiuay which constitutes the headwaters of the Jalaur River Basin Project was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency with support components, such as Agroforestry Support Facilities and Enterprise Development through its Peoples Organization – Asosasyon sang Magagmay nga Mangunguma sang Bukid sang Janiuay (AMMABUS) who specialized in roasted coffee beans. The Project demonstrated the best practices of sustainable forest and watershed management through community centered strategies. During the field visit, the participants would be able to interact with the members of the people’s organization who will explain how the project has improved their quality of life.
