The objectives of the National Conference were met:

1. To reinforce the crucial role of forestry in national development, particularly in ensuring sustainable and locally sourced wood supply while conserving biodiversity*

2. To present the status of the 7-point program of the SFFI and corresponding initiatives and projects and foster further collaboration among regional councils and provincial chapters*

3. Empower foresters and allied professionals to lead transformative policies, programs, and investments that reflect both environmental responsibility and socio-economic inclusion.*

4. Promote biodiversity conservation by mainstreaming ecological safeguards in forestry planning, production, and land use;*

5. Provide a venue for technical exchange, policy dialogue, and capacity-building among foresters, researchers, industry leaders, government agencies, and civil society stakeholders on attaining wood self-sufficiency and biodiversity conservation*
